Do I blog????

Wow! Where has the time gone? Do I still blog? I am not going to give any excuses, so here are the latest from Halloween yesterday... There are a few pictures in there of Austin's car he bought himself. He has learned how to drive a stick, and is ready to turn 16 in a month. The pictures of Halloween are of a lot less people we usually have in them. Ryan's Dad is in Rome recovering from surgery. So Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Matt, and Aunt Heidi are not at the party. Either was Uncle Kent, Devin, Kamry, Jace, Ben and Jason's family. We still had a really fun time, but missed everyone a ton.... Hurry home Grandma and Grandpa. We love and miss you!

School Time

I can not believe that school is starting in one week. Where did the summer go? It has just flown by, and I don't know where I was!!! We have had a good summer. We went on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera!!! The kids had a lot of fun doing that! We missed Drew, he stayed home with his Grandma's. We went on a zip-line, played in the waves, tried to snorkel in a major storm!, and made a lot of good memories with the family and friends we went with! I hope the school year goes good for the kids. Austin is starting High School this year, I am FREAKING OUT!!!! Well I will get pictures up when I have a min. It is 11:00 p.m. and Drew & Ivey are still awake... (I am ready for early bed time again) So I will get pictures put together another time...

Summer

I love summer! The only thing I don't like about it is, I hardly ever have all four of my kids home at the same time. Don't get me wrong, I love they have cousins to play with. The last 2.5 weeks I have not had all four of them in the house together at all. We went to Lake Powell and Ben went home with Jace for a few days. Austin left the next day for Pacen to stay with his friend Alex for eight days. While he was gone, Ben left for a five day scout-camp. Austin gets home and the next day he, Ivey, and Drew went to Pine Valley for the night with my family. Austin and Ivey went back up to PV and Ben came home. Today is Sunday, and we are all in town, but Ben is back at Jace's!! So maybe in a few days I will see them all under my roof together!
Meanwhile, I have started working at home. It is a good thing, I have to keep up with my kids and their crazy schedule! It is working-out good for me. It is weird to think I will not be going into the shop anymore. But I am happy just where I am!!

......New Adventure........

Well, I am finally doing it! I am adding a shop into my home so I can be home with the kids! I have mixed feelings about this. I know it will make my life soooo much easier, my family is very excited to have me here, and I won't worry about Ivey next year coming home to an empty house! But, I am soooo sad to leave my friends at Essence. I have worked with most of those girls for 8-11 years. You grow to love them when you are with them that much! I have had such a wonderful time working with them, and I have learned so much from each of them. I will always be grateful for that. I don't want to sound like I will never see them again, cause I will! We are to good of friends not too!!! I am lucky that they are all standing behind me encouraging me and supporting me in this big decision I have made. And my clients are all being so good about it also. I think I am ready to give it a shot. Plus, my baby turns 3 in 3 weeks. I don't want to miss out on his life anymore. I want to be there for the older kids when they need a Mom to talk to after school, and a very happy husband! Thank you everyone that is making this easier on me!!! I Love You All

The Sun Is Here!!!

Finally!! It is here, and I hope it is to stay!! I love it..(the sun!) I have been soaking it up all weekend. I was in Vegas Sat. for the boys lacrosse games. Austin's team, did not do so good 5-17.. But he had fun playing which is what counts.. Ben's team did good. They won both of their games!! It was nice to just sit and watch them play. Sunday afternoon, we went out to Redcliffs to go hiking. That is one of my most favorite places to go with the kids. We always have such a good time. We went up with Heidi, Amy, and their families. Ryan couldn't go, he was on call and had to write a paper for school. I am so lucky to have a husband like him. I complain when he can't come with us, but, I know he would rather be with us then doing school work. He is a very hard worker. And only one year and three months to go until he is homework free!!!! The kids won't know what to do when he is done. We can do it!!!

This is Ben doing his face off! (that means he is trying to get the ball for his team.

Man he is getting old looking. He is a very good looking kid!

SUNSHINE WHERE ARE YOU???

I am so ready for the sun to come out and warm us up! I am tired of the wind blowing and it being cold outside (sorry everyone up north!). I want to sit outside and watch my kids play. I want to hear the birds chirp. I want to be mad at the stupid ice cream man when he comes around the block! I want to watch Drew try to figure out how he is going to eat ice cream that is half his size before it drops on the driveway! And I want to not be a hermit and talk to my neighbors! Is that to much to ask?????

1,244 miles & 22 hrs. traveled

I think that was one of the craziest months I have had! It started with Ben needing a Roman Soldier costume for a wax museum project. He told me a few weeks before, but I didn't remember until 7:00 the night before! Then Ivey's cheer comp. in Salt Lake that I went up for. Valentines came, Drew and I drove up to New Harmony to make sugar cookies with Tiffany. It was a lot funner making them with her. But I hit a major snow storm on the way home (10:00 p.m.). I should of stayed the night. The next Thursday Austin had a lacrosse game in Mesquite. They played Park City and beat them, so the kids and I went to that. Feb. 21st was my big B-day! Ben and Drew made me a cake while I was getting a pedi. with Ivey and my Mom.:) He forgot to let it cool before adding the candles and frosting! What a good boy he is! That night, Ryan and I then left for Pine Valley to stay at the Cowan's cabin with our friends! Lucinda's B-day is 2 days before mine, so we celebrate together! We ate at the Branding Iron, played games, went on a long walk, and had a snowball fight. It was fun and very relaxing (we watched T.V. with NO kids! Brandon & Debbie watched them for us!). We took Austin and Ben out of school the next Tuesday to go to Brian Head to go snowboarding. The weather was to perfect to pass up. And it was such a fun day. And finally Feb. 28th, Austin had a big lacrosse tournament in Las Vegas. Ryan stayed home with the 3 kids, and I went to Vegas!! I sat on the field in my chair, read my book, watched Austin play, suntanned my face, and was in Heaven. There was no kids needing me, no house to clean, and no one being bored! Plus, I don't get a lot of alone time with Austy. We had to stop at the Valley of Fire so he could laugh (Joe Dirt movie). It was a lot of fun. And that was my Feb. in a nut shell! Thank goodness it is over! :) That equaled out to 1,244 miles & 22 hours of driving out of town.
